On its website, Satori World Medical answers the most common questions regarding travel issues:
Do clients need to book their own airline and hotel?
Clients need not worry about flight and hotel reservations, as its Travel Care Coordinators (TCC)—having been specially trained in the art and science of customer service and medical travel—will take care of the entire reservation process. Moreover, Satori World Medical’s TCCs will educate patients on the policies and culture of the country where the procedure will be performed.
Will the trips be excessively long?
Most of the destinations will require a 6-hour flight from the East coast. Satori will provide experienced staff to readily assist each patient, making the trip as comfortable as possible.

What kind of accommodations will be provided?
Satori has contracted with several high-end intercontinental hotels and resorts in all locations that are adequately equipped and staffed to provide the best environment conducive for recovery.
What travel documents are needed?
The patient only needs a passport and a visa (depending on the destination). Other pertinent documents will be procured by Satori World Medical’s TCCs.
What if a client decides to change the itinerary abroad?
In cases when patients decide to change the itinerary when they’re already abroad, they may contact Satori’s TCCS who will gladly revise the flight itinerary and the hotel accommodations. They will even take charge of contacting the patients’ relatives in the US regarding the change in itinerary.

Can clients bring someone along during the trip?
Satori’s Business and Care model provides for the cost of hotel and travel accommodations of the companion selected by the patient. Satori recognizes the importance of a companion in enhancing the overall quality of the entire experience.
